UPDATE: TAXI OF TOMORROW IN NYC

Previously, the Nissan NV200 won that title about a few months ago, but the real taxi that will be used might change. In a court case (Christopher Noel, versus New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission), the fact that the NV200 did not 100% support disabled people came up, which violates the Title II, section A of the Americans with disabilities act. The court case is held for an appeal on April 19th, which will decide the real taxi that will be used in New York City. The replacement car will be the VPG MV-1 (if the NV200 is decided not to put to use), which personally, doesn't look much better compared to the NV200 in terms of style, features, and safety. The only benefits are that the MV-1 uses gasoline or CNG, has a reasonable interior, large windows, and a powerful engine. This car also is sold to the public, starting at $40,925.
