MASCULINE VS FEMININE CARS

There's always been a debate about cars that are 'girly' or 'not for men'. The most common reason why some people call some cars 'girly' is because of the cars' looks, or more specifically, the design of it. That's because a design of a car is one of the most important thing for the regular consumer( as shown with the new Kia lineup). To me, it depends on how the car is used. For example, the sporty Mazda MX-5 roadster was one of the cars that was 'too feminine' for some people, but that also depends on how someone drives it. It's understandable to see the MX-5 as a 'unmanly' car when someone drives it with the top down, and cruising around town for the whole time. But when someone drives it really fast, like on the track, that image quickly disappears. So in conclusion, it is a bit senseless to call a car 'girly' or 'unmanly' just by its looks, since it depends on how the driver uses the car. After all, you can't judge a book by its cover.
