NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: 2013 NISSAN ALTIMA

Nissan is doing a quick refresh to their rather popular sedan, the Altima. The car was designed to be more aerodynamic, so it has a longer sloping rear roof and raised trunk. The car will be relatively the same size as its predecessor, but the newer car features a new infotament system. Called the Advanced Driver Assist Display, it shows trip information and even navigation is 3D effect graphics. It also has NissanConnect, allowing Bluetooth connectivity and handsfree text messaging, Pandora radio, and lane departure warning with blind spot detection systems. One interesting feature is that this car has seats that were designed for comfort and in a 'neutral position', researched on zero-gravity on the space station Skylab before it crashed into the Earth. The car uses the same two engines, 2.5 liter inline 4 and the 3.5 liter V6.
