The NHTSA recalled the Ford Focus because the wiring may be missing a seal on the wiring harness connector to the passenger-side wiper motor, which could cause the passenger side wiper to activate intermittently or not at all, increasing the chance of a crash. Ford will notify owners starting from May 21st, and owners could also call to see if their vehicle is affected at 866-436-7332, with the recall campaign number as 12S29.
