THE IMPORTANCE AND DANGERS OF BRAND LOYALTY

Many people have their favorite brands of automobiles, just like they have certain opinions for Macs and PCs. Brand loyalty is caused due to many factors, including (but not limited to) safety, design, overall quality,  nationality, etc. Personally, brand loyalty is respectable, unless it goes too far. By 'too far', I am referring to people who think that particular brand is the best brand in the entire world, no matter what. That is not only foolish, but dangerous as well. Thinking in that way can cause a person to only focus on the brands' cars, and not their competitors. This is crucial when buying a new car as well. If someone is in that state of thinking, and they buy the brands' car without much thought, there is a possibility that they will not buy the better car (from the competition), and thus regret the decision later on. There is a limit to where brand loyalty is sensible, and beyond that limit is just obsession.
